RECENT CHANGES (2003/09/26)
- if libmagic, libacl, libattr are present at compile-time, support
will be built in. if they are available at run-time, they will be
used, but they are not required.
- desktop automation -- speaks eCore, DCOP and DBUS IPC. See evsh.
- compiled without GTK2 tree by default now
- properties -- configuration may be adjusted at run-time using IPC,
  evsh, or typebuffer.
- tab-completion for files, properties and URLs. zsh-style for files
  (/u/l/b == /u*/l*/b*, expands to /usr/local/bin).

RECENT CHANGES (2003/06/03)
- .folder is back
- automatic tooltips (-W) are back
- ACLs and EAs copied/moved correctly
- ACLs displayed in properties dialog (ACL-editing on shortlist)
- emblems (read-only/no-access)
- pseudo-transparency now works with tiled backgrounds, multiple desktops,
and solid colour backgrounds (by popular request)
- truetype thumbnails look better
- drag'n'drop uses actual icon now rather than the default
- POSIX-backend may be compiled against libmagic (MIME-type determination of
the file-command). if it can't determine the MIME-type by file-extension,
it falls back on (the costlier) libmagic.
- typebuffer has new variable $SEL ($SELECTION) which contains the current
selection (^V on the other hand would paste the *clipboard*'s contents)
- animations (folder opened, application opened, file opened) are plugins now
- switched to own internal model, added much stability and speed
- new/delete items in displayed dir handled much more gracefully
- can be installed wherever (prefix foo fixed in configure),
and reportedly on whatever, incl. SunOS and Mac OS X
- multi-line typebuffer
- optional toolbars ("textpath" for now)
- "genre" pop-up menu for MP3/ID3
