You'll need one kernel to get Linux started on your system so that you can 
install it.  Two kernels have been provided.  You should use the one 
that best matches your system hardware to maximize your chances of success.

*  ide   : For most systems with IDE controllers only       *
*  scsi  : For systems that need IDE, SCSI or old CDROM     *
*************************************************************

To boot the chosen kernel input the name of the kernel and press enter.

boot: ide   "For example, boot the 'ide' kernel!"

The default is 'ide' which has ide support.
This generic kernel should work with almost all machines. So if in
doubt choose this by pressing enter without inputing a kernel name.
