Some simple rules for email trading (adjust to your needs): | |
1. | Trading Volume:
Send not more than one (that is 1) mail until I respond. No mails bigger than 1 MB (thats 1000000 bytes for Hotmail). Do not request more than 1 MB, for I won't send more back. |
2. | See rule 1).
I MEAN it !!! If you want to trade with me in earnest we can use FTP. Mail me for the details. |
3. | Files for trading:
Check the lists below and send only files I need. Please choose files at random, or else I get the same files from several people. Reload the lists every day; check the time of my last update above. Don't send files if my last update is more than 1 week old. |
4. | File Integrity:
Please check your files on size AND CRC-32 before sending them. I suggest you use ScanSort, the very best collection manager available, with current data files. You can download the CSVs I use by clicking on the collection names below. For attached files use encoding with MIME, base64 or uuencode (or use a multi-media-enabled mailer like Netscape). Do NOT send mails in HTML or I won't be able to read the attachments (Hotmail problem)! If you send many files please put them in a ZIP file. |
5. | Send / Request:
Cross series trading is allowed, of course. Quote your requests exactly, don't forget the series. No need to say in detail what you are sending (I'm using ScanSort :) ). Trading ratio is 1:1 for mailing. That means: you send a mail of less than 1MB, I send a mail of less than 1MB back. |
6. | I am offline during the weekend, so don't be disappointed if I don't reply before Mondays. |
7. | Too many rules ? USE COMMON SENSE, that's what most of those rules mean ! |
