• Although this built-in feature of fbpanel is limited to maximized windows, the pfbpanel manager extends the function to new windows. Specifically, screen-edge placement (bottom, top, left, right) and height values of the main and accessory panels are automatically synchronized with corresponding openbox margin settings in rc.xml. Consequently, when this fbpanel option is enabled (true), the panel is not covered by new or maximized windows. When disabled (false), management of the desktop margins reverts to openbox alone.

The first option of the pop-up menu enables quick access to the LaunchBar Configuration Manager (Preferences). Additional options include setting the default control center, search utility and run dialog, and updating the Puppy menu (fixmenus).

The available menu items are defined by .desktop files in /usr/share/applications, /usr/local/share/applications, /usr/share/applications/kde and /usr/share/applications/kde4. Up to twenty-five (25) application launchers are supported.
Click Apply to create the panel launchers shown in the preview list.
By default in FbBox, the windows of launchbar applications will open under the mouse cursor. If you prefer window placement in free areas of the desktop, uncheck (untick) the default setting in the Windows tab of the openbox configuration manager (obconf).
The editing option is available if PupMenu is installed. This module facilitates changing launcher parameters defined by .desktop files, such as panel icons and tooltips.
