    Margins

    • Long-side margin: distance from screen edge to long side of panel. Note: this option does not apply to auto-hidden panels: Range=0-600, Default=0

    • Aligned margin: distance from screen edge to aligned side of panel. Note: this option does not apply to center-aligned panels: Range=0-1000, Default=0

    Size

    • Long-side dimension: Scale panel's long axis to percent of screen edge or dynamically scale to optimal size

    • Short-side dimension in pixels: Range=20-96, Default=48

    • Icon size in pixels: Range=16-96, Default=42

    Launchers

Mouse-over tooltips of launcher icons: legal values are true, false

    Round corners

Set panel corners to round shape: legal values are true, false

    • Corner radius (higher values increase corner circularity): legal values are numbers 0-25; Default=7

  • Properties
  • Autohide

Hide panel off screen unless mouseover: legal values are true, false

    Desktop Margins

Reserve space at the desktop margins so maximized windows do not cover the panel: legal values are true, false

    • Although this built-in feature of fbpanel is limited to maximized windows, the pfbpanel manager extends the function to new windows. Specifically, screen-edge placement (bottom, top, left, right) and height values of the main and accessory panels are automatically synchronized with corresponding openbox margin settings in rc.xml. Consequently, when this fbpanel option is enabled (true), the panel is not covered by new or maximized windows. When disabled (false), management of the desktop margins reverts to openbox alone.

    Dock

Identify panel as a dock rather than a window: legal values are true, false

    Stacking

Place panel above all windows, else below: legal values are true, false

    LAUNCHERS

    Available applications

The available menu items are defined by .desktop files in /usr/share/applications, /usr/local/share/applications, /usr/share/applications/kde and /usr/share/applications/kde4. Up to twenty-five (25) application launchers are supported.

    Panel applications

Click Apply to create the panel launchers shown in the preview list.

By default in FbBox, the windows of launchbar applications will open under the mouse cursor. If you prefer window placement in free areas of the desktop, uncheck (untick) the default setting in the Windows tab of the openbox configuration manager (obconf).

    Edit launcher files (.desktop files)

The editing option is available if PupMenu is installed. This module facilitates changing launcher parameters defined by .desktop files, such as panel icons and tooltips.

    Remove selected launcher

Quickly delete launchers from the panel.

    Move selected launcher up/down

Easily change the placement/sequence of launchers in the panel.
