NAME
    fsize - return the file size

SYNOPSIS
    fsize(fd)

TYPES
    fd		file

    return	int

DESCRIPTION
    This function returns the number of bytes in a file.  When at
    the end of file, ftell returns a value which is 1 greater than
    the file size as reported by fsize.

EXAMPLE
    > fd = fopen("/etc/motd", "r")
    > fsize(fd)
	    784

LIMITS
    fd must be associaed with an open file
