[16:12:01] <hch12907> btw, how would a theoretical RK3576 support be like? The chip is _almost_ fully supported by mainline, the lack of CPU fan support being the only caveat. Is the solution to create a linux-rk3576 package with the relevant cpu fan patches?

[16:32:20] <SpieringsAE> rk3399 is v8 for example, it has A72 and A53 cores
[16:32:40] <SpieringsAE> so this port runs fine on my orangepi 5+
[16:34:07] <SpieringsAE> rk3576 can't run fanless? I've got my 3588 running fanless in a case.
[16:34:55] <SpieringsAE> but yeah, if you want to add your own patches you are going to have to build your own kernel, currently the goal is to have just a generic kernel upstream
